What is Child Dedications?
Child dedication is a beautiful moment where parents and the church family come together to acknowledge that children are a gift from God—and commit to raising them to know and follow Jesus.
At KOP Vineyard, child dedications are not baptisms but a meaningful opportunity for parents to publicly commit to raising their children in the love and truth of God. It’s also a time for the church community to pray, bless, and affirm our support as families lead their kids in faith.
We believe the most significant spiritual influence in a child’s life is their home—through everyday moments of prayer, learning, worship, and love. That’s why we offer child dedications: to encourage, support, and stand with parents as they take on the sacred role of spiritual leadership in their family.
Before participating in a dedication service, we offer a short orientation class to help parents understand the heart behind this commitment and what it means in the life of our church.
