Prayer

Prayer Ministry

Prayer is one of the most powerful and personal ways to connect with God, who loves to meet us exactly where we are.

At KOP Vineyard, we offer prayer during every Sunday service and in our small groups. Whether you’re facing a challenge, seeking healing, or just want more of God’s presence, our trained prayer teams are here to pray with you in a safe, compassionate, and Spirit-led way.

We understand that prayer may initially feel unfamiliar or even intimidating. Our heart is to make it simple, encouraging, and grounded in God’s love.

The Vineyard 5-Step Prayer Model

We use the Vineyard Prayer Model, which is practiced worldwide as a loving and Spirit-sensitive way to pray for others. Here's how it works:

Step 1: Ask
We begin with a simple question: “How can I pray for you?”
This helps us listen to your heart—and, more importantly, God’s.

Step 2: Listen
Before jumping into prayer, we pause to quietly listen to the Holy Spirit. We believe God wants to speak and lead as we pray.

Step 3: Pray in Faith
We pray expectantly but gently—inviting God to move, heal, speak, and restore. We use natural, everyday language and trust that the Holy Spirit is present and working.

Step 4: Check In
As we pray, we may ask what you’re sensing or feeling. People often experience peace, warmth, or even physical healing. This helps us recognize and celebrate what God is doing.

Step 5: Encourage
After prayer, we offer next steps or encouragement—because healing and restoration are often a journey, not just a moment.

Extended Healing Prayer Sessions

For those seeking more healing, we offer extended healing prayer sessions led by a trained team of 2–3 ministers.

These sessions are currently available to:

  • Members of KOP Vineyard
  • Those regularly attending a small group

A referral from a pastor, small group leader, or ministry leader is required.
